The combination of legal practice and academic research has been part of our DNA for more than 100 years. Academic discourse gives us valuable impulses for our practice. Many of our attorneys are lecturers at universities, authors of legal commentaries and specialist books and publish articles on current topics.

With more than 120 attorneys at four offices, we are one of the smaller law firms in terms of numbers. For us, being cosmopolitan is not a question of offices abroad, but a way of life. We advise on international mandates on a daily basis, mostly in English. In doing so, we draw on our long-standing, close relationships with leading independent law firms worldwide. With many of these international contacts, but also with some of our clients, there is the opportunity for secondments by individual arrangement.
