SWP Stadtwerke Pforzheim GmbH & Co. KG, based in Pforzheim, is a regional energy supplier and grid operator with over 500 employees. It provides energy, water and high-speed internet to the city of Pforzheim and the surrounding communities. In the course of the transaction, SWP has increased its existing share in Netze Pforzheim-Region GmbH & Co. KG – a joint grid company of SWP and Netze BW GmbH, a subsidiary of the EnBW group.
