SZA Schilling, Zutt & Anschütz strengthens tax practice with Dr. Christoph Kiegler

SZA Schilling, Zutt & Anschütz continues its growth course. Dr. Christoph Kiegler will join the firm's tax practice in Mannheim as a partner on 1 April 2025.

Dr. Christoph Kiegler (50) is a proven expert in the field of national and international tax law with more than 20 years of experience. He has extensive knowledge in all areas of tax law. Dr. Christoph Kiegler advises capital market-oriented companies, medium-sized companies and family-owned businesses, in particular on national and cross-border M&A transactions and the modeling of transaction-relevant tax effects, restructurings, tax audits and tax aspects of corporate succession. In addition, he regularly represents clients in fiscal court proceedings.

Dr. Christoph Kiegler joins the firm from the international auditing firm KPMG, where he was most recently a partner in the Corporate Tax department. He will be based in Mannheim and will work closely with the cross-office tax team led by Dr. Hans-Georg Berg and Dr. Peter Bauschatz. With a total of 14 lawyers, the team advises on all matters of corporate tax law, international tax law and the tax structuring of transactions.
